Gayle Taylor obtained her Master of Divinity in 2017 and has served as Associate Pastor, choir director, organist, and pianist for Baptist churches in the Middle District Association. Prior to her ordination and MDiv degree, she taught composition and literature in the community college system. She loves to write and has published several devotional pieces for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship online devotional. She also does faith-based coaching and has worked with college students through the BGAV college mentor program.

She enjoyed living in England several years ago with her husband, Jeff, who worked for the federal government at that time. She is the mother of twins, Kyle and Meredith and is grandmother to Scarlett, Silas, and David. Her cat, Roary, and dogs, Max and Ranger are also dear to her heart.  She loves books, coffee, her piano, and all kinds of music. She is excited to work with Mount Hermon in the role of Minister of Music.
